Your First Week

Feelmo does not give an instant “answer” about your health. Use the first week to become familiar with the screens and the records available from Apple Watch. Balance is an in-product display that uses proprietary on-device processing to summarize HRV-derived information available through Apple Watch / HealthKit and patterns in your own past. Processing and display rules are not public.

Do not rush to a conclusion

Look at the pattern across similarly collected records rather than one number. Balance does not directly measure autonomic function, emotion, fatigue, stress, recovery, or health.

Start by preparing Apple Watch

  1. Pair Apple Watch with your iPhone.
  2. Check the required HealthKit read permissions.
  3. If practical, wear Apple Watch at night.
  4. Open Feelmo in the morning.

The optical wrist sensor is affected by factors such as fit and movement. A missing record or display does not by itself mean that the app is broken or that something is wrong with your health. See Apple Watch and HealthKit if you need help with setup.

What should I check in the morning?

Start with how you feel and any symptoms, including sleepiness, pain, or fever. Then use Feelmo's Balance, HRV, heart-rate, and sleep displays as secondary information.

The six companions are product characters. They are not a mood you entered or an AI determination of emotion or fatigue. Character-display rules are not public. Use the optional note to record how you actually felt or what happened.

How should I read the record over time?

  • Do not compare scores with other people: HRV varies greatly between individuals.
  • Do not conclude from one day: sleep, breathing, posture, exercise, alcohol, medication, health, and measurement conditions can all matter.
  • Compare similar conditions where practical: similar timing and wearing conditions make personal comparisons easier.
  • Keep the display separate from your experience: agreement does not validate the proprietary display or establish causation.

See Your baseline for within-person comparison and Understanding HRV for the scientific limitations of HRV.

Review one question at the end of the week

Using only the records you have, choose one simple question:

  • What do you notice when you review sleep records beside notes about how you actually felt?
  • Are there life events, such as alcohol or a late meal, that you want to record for context?
  • Did a breathing or light-exercise practice feel comfortable and practical to continue?

Habit association patterns summarize observational associations between habits you recorded and Balance. Proprietary processing details are not public, and the feature does not prove effects or causality.

Small ways to keep going

  • Resume on the next convenient day if a record is missing.
  • If you wear the Watch at night, charge it at a convenient time during the day.
  • Use numbers to review daily life, not as targets to optimize.
  • Do not wait for an app display when you have concerning symptoms.

Not for medical decisions

Feelmo is not a medical device and does not make decisions about diagnosis, treatment, or exercise safety. Seek qualified medical advice for concerning or persistent symptoms regardless of the display.
