Everyday Use
Feelmo is designed to require little effort: wear your Apple Watch at night and open the app in the morning to review the records available for that day.
Balance is a proprietary wellness display based on available HRV-derived information and patterns in your own past records (how to read Balance). It does not directly measure your emotions, autonomic state, fatigue, recovery, or health. This page shows a simple way to review it without trying to chase a higher score.
First, please keep this in mind
Feelmo is not a medical device, and does not diagnose or treat anything. Its displays are product-specific reference information, not a judgment of your health. If you have concerning symptoms, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
Morning — Receiving today's balance
When you wake up, open the Home tab. At the center is the Balance gauge; beside it, one of the six companions may appear as a product interface character. Its display rules are not public, and it does not report your actual mood or bodily state.
How is it created? Balance is a 0–100 proprietary summary of available HRV-derived information and patterns in your own past records. Feelmo does not publish its processing details. Nighttime records may contain less large wrist movement, but they can still include error and missing data.
How to read it?
- Please don't fixate on the number. To begin with, it's enough to simply, lightly receive which companion is here today
- Whether the label is “Energized” or “Tired,” it does not establish how you are right now
- The visual treatment around the gauge is also an in-product display. Its detailed rules are not public, and it is not a medical deviation or normal range (What is a baseline)
- Home also lines up HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, a product-specific “stress level,” and an HRV trend. The stress label does not directly measure perceived stress, and none of these displays is a diagnosis (more detailed wearable records appear on Wellbeing)
Until your baseline takes shape
The screen may show “Learning.” This is an in-product status, not a process that establishes medical accuracy. Do not attach too much meaning to the score; continue on days when wearing the Watch is practical. Detailed display rules are not public.
Daytime — Reviewing Mood Log
Your Mood Log can collect Balance and product character displays when readings are available. Their display rules are not public, and the character is not an emotion inferred from your body.
- When something stirs in your heart, you can add a short note to the day. Your entry can be short, and it's completely fine to add nothing at all
- Balance and the product character can be recorded automatically and cannot be edited. Display rules are not public; your optional note can record how you actually felt
- Optional notes and product displays can be reviewed on the same timeline. Seeing them together may suggest a question to explore, but it does not establish a cause or validate the score
- From the calendar, charts, and recent logs, you can look back anytime
Keep “how it felt” separate from the product character display. Looking at both may prompt a useful question, but agreement between them does not establish cause or validate the score.
When you want to settle — Breathing
Feeling restless, shoulders tense — at times like these, open a breathing session from Home or another entry point.
- Choose any of the six visual breathing pacers that feels comfortable. Names such as “Calm” and “Energy” are product labels, not guaranteed effects. Return to natural breathing if a pattern feels difficult
- Slow paced breathing can temporarily change breathing rate and some HRV measures, but it does not guarantee a particular autonomic, emotional, or health effect (Breathing sessions)
Want to view associations in your own records
Habit association patterns help you review observational relationships between habits you recorded and Balance (Details). Proprietary processing details are not public, and the feature does not prove effects or causality.
Looking back — Seeing trends by week and month
Rather than rejoicing or despairing over a single day's score, stepping back a little to take it in is the Feelmo way.
- With the Mood Log graphs, you can follow the shifts across week, month, and year
- In the Well-being tab, you can see habits like sun exposure, steps, respiratory rate, and sleep, along with the details of sleep and sun exposure
- A repeated change may be a clue worth reviewing, but the chart does not directly measure recovery
- Placing sleep, sunlight, or activity beside Balance shows an association in your records; it does not prove what caused the change (Connections with behavior)
What's free, and where Premium begins
The yearly (12-month) sleep details, the habit look-back (days before yesterday), and looking back at past days for sun exposure, steps, and respiratory rate open up with Feelmo Premium. The weekly and monthly sleep views, and the weekly, monthly, and yearly look-backs in the Mood Log, are all free. Tapping a locked view will quietly open the purchase screen.
Tips for keeping it up
- Don't aim for perfect. The record keeps itself; if some days carry no note of yours, that's perfectly fine. Feelmo affirms the "ordinary."
- Keep measurement conditions comparable. Wrist readings are affected by movement. Sleep or a seated pause may reduce large motion, but neither guarantees an error-free record (Connecting with Apple Watch).
- Do not compete with other people. HRV varies widely between individuals, so use the page to review your own records collected under reasonably similar conditions.
About your data
Feelmo processes HRV-derived data and scores on device and does not automatically send them to Provider servers. If you start an export or share, selected content goes to your chosen destination. Apple storage and syncing follow your settings (Data and privacy).
When you're stuck
- The score doesn't appear, notifications don't arrive, and other troubles → Support
- You want to know a term or how something works → Your Balance score / Getting to know HRV
What matters
Feelmo isn't a tool for grading you. It's a small light, here to gently watch over the you of today.
Please note
Feelmo's displays are reference information for reviewing daily records and are not intended for medical diagnosis or treatment.
